Agricultural Energy Solutions
We are committed to improving efficiencies, cutting costs and introducing renewable energy sources into our local farming communities.
We are working alongside industry professionals in soil conservation, macadamia processing and hydroponic farming to best meet their needs combining innovative engineering technology and modern farming practices.
Fish Hotels

We partnered with our local Soil Conservation Service to help restore the riverbank in Emigrant Creek near Ballina. Our redesigned fish hotels have been installed across the banks of the river and are helpful in restoring erosion as well as creating a safe habitat for the fish to breed in.
We built a custom drilling jig and assembly plate for the job that allowed us to assemble 11 of these hotels in a day! Previously this job had been done manually and required the drilling of 3000 holes by hand. Our drilling jig is highly accurate and safe allowing for productivity to speed up while safety on site is improved.
Eco Drying Unit

AES designed and built a drying unit for a local macadamia processing facility. By using their processed shell as fuel, they now no longer require the use of any non renewable energy on their site. The eco dryer is uniquely cost and energy efficient and uses approximately 1.6 tonne of shell to dry 100 tonne of produce.
